Why is relational health in the Workplace important?
​Benefits of positive social interactions at work include: increased employee engagement, shared knowledge and improved productivity, increased employee satisfaction, reduced health risks including reducing risks of compromised immunity and depression, facilitating innovative thinking, increased connection- informational and emotional support, positive feelings, trust, altruism, improved team performance and improved motivation. Positive relationships decrease work stress and increase employee happiness which in turn is predictive of workplace success.
Why is relational health in the Community important?
Positive relationships give meaning and richness to our our lives and work and strengthens the foundation of our communities. Benefits of positive relationships in the community include: enhanced sense of belonging, increased support system, collaboration, cooperation and shared resources and opportunities.
